New contacts with Russian partners expected to improve performance of Belarusian enterprises

The establishment of new business contacts with Russian partners will improve the performance of enterprises. Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Yaroshevich made the statement during a working trip to Dobrush District, Gomel Oblast, BelTA has learned.

Dmitry Yaroshevich visited the Dobrush paper factory Geroy Truda branch of the holding company Belorusskie Oboi. The official met with the management and workers of the branch and took part in the discussion of the matters the collective was worried about.

In his opinion, the enhancement of traditional contacts and the establishment of new business contacts with Russian partners will allow improving the effectiveness of work of enterprises and increasing sales. “Due to the withdrawal of foreign companies from the market of the friendly country of Russia huge niches are opening up for Belarusian goods, including for products this enterprise makes: office paper, wallpaper, and so on. Thanks to the timely accomplished modernization you have an opportunity to promptly start manufacturing and satisfy feverish demand. Proximity to the border considerably simplifies logistics of deliveries. The popularity of the Made in Belarus brand with Russian consumers will also help increase sales,” the deputy economy minister said.

Dmitry Yaroshevich believes that it is important to wisely exploit the situation, work more productively and interact with potential customers more actively in order to fully utilize one's own potential. “Such a business strategy will increase the stability of the economy and will get all kinds of support from the government without a doubt,” he stressed.
