Directed lending in Belarus to make up Br425m in 2021

MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) - The volume of directed lending in Belarus will amount to Br425 million in 2021. Corresponding decree No.78 of the Council of Ministers of 9 February 2021 was published on the national legal internet portal on 11 February, BelTA has learned.

Lending within state programs will make up Br159.8 million, of which Br158.8 million will be directed to the state program Agricultural Business for 2021-2025, and Br1 million to the state program Housing Construction.

Some Br233.79 million will be allocated to provide loans to business, while some Br31.4 million – to provide loans to individuals.

The resolution also approved the areas and limits of directed lending of state programs and activities by banks and the Development Bank in 2021. Thus, Belarusbank will provide Br271.3 million, Belagroprombank - Br77.5 million, Development Bank - Br76.1 million.
