Capabilities of the Gomel Oblast civil engineering industry have been highly appreciated in Bryansk. A number of projects will be implemented soon, BelTA learned from the Gomel Oblast administration's Telegram channel.
Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Andrei Baranovsky has talked about prospects and the realization of projects in the neighboring region of Russia. Plans have been made to build at least 100,000m2 of housing in addition to 19 eight-apartment residential buildings for orphaned children, which will be built at the expense of the federal budget for a total of RUB250 million.
Gomel Oblast civil engineering companies will also build a surgery wing of the Bryansk Oblast Children's Hospital and an outdoor football arena for the sport school Dinamo Bryansk. “The approximate cost of the two projects has been determined but we are now revising upwards coefficients concerning equipment and materials upon the customer's demands,” Andrei Baranovsky noted.
Apart from that, plans have been sketched out to set up a joint venture. Preliminary arrangements have been made to deliver granite from the Nadezhda open pit in Glushkovichi, Lelchitsy District, Gomel Oblast. A joint venture based on a Gomel Oblast macadam factory may be established in the future, Andrei Baranovsky noted.
