Lukashenko approves State Investment Program for 2021

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree to approve the State Investment Program for 2021, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Taking into account the investment capacity of the central budget, the program provides for channeling financial resources into the facilities that will be commissioned in 2021, and facilities which construction is nearing completion.
In 2021, Br664.2 million is to be allocated to finance 102 facilities featured in the program, including Br399.5 million of state capital investments, and Br105 million from the national development fund.
In accordance with the 2021 program, there are plans to start financing the construction (renovation) of 28 facilities and to commission 48 facilities.
This year will see the completion of the construction of secondary schools in the towns of Baranovichi, Stolbtsy, Bobruisk, preschool institutions in the towns of Molodechno and Fanipol, the village of Druzhny in Pukhovichi District, a bus station, a residential building for employees of educational institutions, a solid waste landfill in the town of Ostrovets.
The renovation of the following facilities will be completed this year: sports and recreation centers in the town of Orsha and the agro-town of Babinichi of Orsha District, the Ostrovets cinema and concert hall, the Planeta children’s camp in Minsk District and some other facilities.
