New Minsk-Poland passenger rail service via Grodno as from 11 May

MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – On 11 May the Belarusian Railways will launch a new passenger service Minsk-Grodno-Bialystok-Malkinia with a transfer in Grodno, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Railways.

Following the agreements between the Belarusian and Polish railways the schedule of Grodno-Malkinia train No. 193 will change on 11 May. The train will leave Grodno for Poland at 12.50 instead of 11.23. The move will allow for a transfer of passengers of the interregional train Minsk-Grodno No.673 to train No.193.

Grodno-Malkinia train No.193 will arrive in Bialystok at 14.57 and in Malkinia at 16.23.

"The project is aimed at making the passenger rail service more attractive within and outside Belarus, developing tourist routes and strengthening Belarus' transport ties with the EU countries," the press service said.
