MINSK (BelTA) – The 24th edition of the international food industry expo PRODEXPO 2018 will be held at the Belexpo national exhibition center from 23 to 26 October, BelTA learned from the organizers.
The participants of the business meetings will generalize the international experience of manufacture and promotion of food products. Workshops will be held to discuss the interaction with partners and exports to Southeast Asian countries, the safety and protection of the Belarusian brands when exporting to China.
The program also provides for numerous tasting competitions, professional excellence competitions among pastry chefs, the best of whom will receive the right to go to the world's major contests of confectionery skills.
“Prodexpo 2018 will help us collect information necessary to work out business solutions, understand the market trends, assess development trends for the near term and outline the future plan of action,” the organizers said. This year we have seen a great interest in the expo on the part of companies from Russia, Poland, Greece, Armenia, Latvia, Moldova, and Uzbekistan, the organizers added.
